It is our mission in this blog to give you simple helpful tips that can have lasting effects on the quality of your life. This post is about the nervous system. Made up of the brain, spinal cord and nerves, this system sends energetic messages throughout our body and connects us with the greater energetic field of the universe. In the universal field awaits all your desires and aligned inspiration. The only thing standing in your way from attuning with and receiving these gifts is your energetic state which you can manipulate through your nervous system.
Neurons in your nerves send signals to the rest of your body through the channel of the spinal cord. These neurons respond to physical and mental stimuli. This process is automatic, but requires our conscious attention when the stimuli is negative. There is immense value in our ability to quickly respond in dangerous situations, but our ability to perceive stress in the mind, with no actual physical stimuli needs to be addressed. This is where, if we are not mindful and present, our nervous systems can hold us in a negative. The more time we spend assuming the worst, expecting disappointment, and reliving stressful situations the longer we remain in a dysregulated state. As energetic beings it is our responsibility to stabilize our energy. Regulation is essential.
Here are some easy and practical ways to regulate your nervous system on a daily basis.
Pause and reflect : Ensure you have breaks added into your schedule to sit and feel what comes up naturally. Acknowledging your emotional energy allows you to clear what needs to be. Try this tip in nature. All environments hold different energies, and nature is the most grounding.
Breathe : Breath work can profoundly shift your energy and regulated your nervous system. Slow, controlled breathing activates your parasympathetic nervous system—the “rest and digest” mode. This can lower heart rate, reduce anxiety, and help you come down from stress or emotional overwhelm.
Singing And Humming: These activities create vibrations in the chest and throat stimulating the vague nerve. This will aid in sending the body into a regulated state of calm and safe bringing you back into your body. The release of oxytocin, endorphins and dopamine can also be expected with these activities and aid in maintaining a regulated state.
Exercise : Rhythmic, low-to-moderate intensity movement trains the parasympathetic nervous system while training your body to return to calm on its own. Walking, gentle cycling, swimming, or yoga with steady breathing are a few activities to try. My personal favorite exercise to regulate my nervous system is dancing. Stay creative and pick the activity that brings you the most joy.
Nervous system regulation in a fundamental piece in intentional manifestation. Since we are always manifesting, when we remain in a calm, peaceful, confident state we send those signals to the universe. When our dominant frequency is safe and secure, we are able to attract more experiences in life that will create more of those feelings in the future since like attracts like. And to attract what we cannot yet perceive, we must assume it is already ours. Assumptions are felt states. The more regulated we are the more uplifting states we can assume. The more positive states we assume the more desires we align with.
It is important to note there is a lag between assumed state and wish fulfilled. Neville Goddard's teaching encourages us to stay loyal to the actualization of desires, and this is much easier to accomplish with a well trained nervous system.
Lastly, a regulated nervous system allows energy to move through us freely, decreasing stagnation and lower density perceptions and beliefs. When our energy can move freely, it allows for stuck dense energy to rise and be released granting us clarity in our current situations and bringing more miracles into existence.
